How are we using social media? As it turns out, we are using it more and more. Companies spent over $7.5 billion on social media in 2014 close to $24 billion in 2015. It is predicted that spending will increase to close to $36 billion by the end of next year. Businesses are expanding the social networks being used as well. While Facebook still dominates with 96% of B2C social media users and 88% of B2B social media connected businesses, the adoption of other networks such as Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter are steadily climbing.
