It should come as no surprise to those businesses who have maintained a Facebook presence online the last several years that the organic reach for Facebook posts has declined over that time period. There are a number of factors that have contributed to those findings other than the fact that someone at Facebook has it out for you and your business (I actually heard that from a client once). Let’s start with the fact that there are over 18 million business online on Facebook all competing for some of the same sets of eyes you are. Let’s also consider that well over 3 million items are shared on Facebook every minute of every day. Unless you spend every waking minute of every day refreshing your Facebook page, you are going to miss posts your closest friends are sharing, let alone the posts businesses interested in getting you as a customer are posting.
