How fast doers your website load? Speed is one of the most important elements of a good website in 2015. Google measures the speed of your website as part of your search ranking. Why? Who among us won’t admit to clicking on a website and have it load so slow, that we click the back button and move on to another site? We all do this, and unfortunately we do it more and more often. A website not only needs to look good, but it needs to load fast too. Since well over 90% of use a shared web server, we are at the mercy of not only the host company, their electricity, their computers and their internet connections, but we are also at the mercy of what everyone else does on that same server as well. That’s a lot of responsibility on one web connection. Enter the Content Delivery Network, or CDN. A CDN can offer a cached version of your website often times faster than your live server, but more importantly, even when your primary server is down.
