As web designers and developers, we are very concerned with web hosting. There was a point in time many years ago, we didn’t care who hosted the website. In fact, it some of the sites we’ve seen over the years could very well have been hosted on someone’s 20-year-old Compaq desktop with two squirrels powering their internet connection. While every major internet service provider gives away some sort of web hosting with your monthly service, we strongly advise against any business ever doing so. You don’t run your business out of the trunk of your car, why should your website be any different? We made it a rule years ago never to work on any website not hosted by a professional web host.
