Fonts are fun. Like most marketers, we have played with thousands of different fonts over the years for various projects and they all have advantages and disadvantages. We try to be very careful in selecting fonts for use in our projects to try and portray the companies and products we work with to their intended audience in a way that gives them the look they are seeking while keeping their content easy to read. Not everyone takes the same care and trouble can ensue when the wrong fonts are used. Imagine your tax forms printed in Comic Sans for example. Here is an infographic put together by the folks at UrbanFonts comparing Serif and Sans Serif (with and without tails) fonts. Which do you use for your communications?
