Today we celebrate another earth day. Many of us are conscious that how we live not only takes away from the world around us in natural resources, but also adds to the world we live in the form of waste materials and exhaust pollutants. There are those who deny we have any effect on the world around us, yet they only need look at almost any teenager’s room to see what happens when you don’t clean up after yourself. As humans we sometimes act as global teenagers without a care in the world who cleans up after us, and we all know there is no one but ourselves to clean up after ourselves. Time for us all to grow up and realize what we do today is what we leave our children and their children tomorrow. We can all do our parts in cleaning up and using the resources of our planet more responsibly, without having to give up on the lifestyles we all works so hard to achieve. Today is the day to remind ourselves that every little bit helps.
