Unless we compare the size of baby from conception to birth, it’s pretty hard to fathom the explosive growth that social media has experienced in just a little over 5 years. In 2008, Facebook had 130 million members, a very big number for the time. Today Facebook has over 1.2 billion members.In 2008, Myspace had a strong 115 million members, today that number is 36 million. In total we are rapidly approaching 2 billion active users of social media.
