Happy Thanksgiving. We hope you get to spend time with your friends and family. Today is truly a day to spend with loved ones if possible As strongly as we encourage business on every other day of the year, we want to encourage everyone to stay home and stop the retail Thanksgiving day creep. Big box stores across the country are forcing employees to forgo this holiday with their families to open stores early to selfish ungrateful shoppers who would push, trip, shove, fight and even step over a fellow human to grab a price leader item at a discount that probably isn’t even being purchased as a gift, all to save a few bucks. Black Friday and now these ever early Thanksgiving retail hours are the ugly side of commercialism and shows the worst in us as people and as Americans.
