As more and more of us move into smartphones and tablets, we are turning to apps and social media in ever more increasing numbers. On a recent trip to New York City (as an example) I downloaded a half dozen apps to make the trip more enjoyable as well as more efficient. Everything from sight-seeing apps to taxi apps. Some were fair, some were quite good. Overall, they made the sightseeing and tourist part of the trip much more enjoyable. As consumers, we are using apps on an ever increasing basis for a variety of things. This infographic from Baynote shows us how we are using these apps.
