The web has been a cat and mouse game for a long time with people trying to game the system to one up their competitors and gain a higher position in search engines. There have been all kinds of tricks over the years and those who try and cheat their way to the top get more sophisticates, so too does Google and Bing in how they measure web sites. One of the most important criteria these days is content, which is pretty much why you surf the web anyway. Content doesn’t mean just words, but pictures as well. Whether you are offering the latest statistics on the red beaked freckled owl (if there is such a thing) or the newest photos from the hottest models on the planet, content and for that matter, new, fresh content is where the action is. Afterall, what good is any particular issue of your local newspaper from last year to the majority of us. To quote the 1976 otherwise forgettable movie “The Gumball Rally”,  “And now my friend, the first-a rule of Italian driving….
