We are always floored when we are reminded that many of the online services we engage with day in and day out haven’t really been around very long. Case in point, YouTube. Can you believe it didn’t exist until 2005? This morning (as I write this) I was thinking of Michael Douglas’ speech from The American President in the White House Press Room. All I had to do was search for it on YouTube. In 2 minutes I was watching it. The folks at sortymedia have come up with this brief history of YouTube.
