How do we know what the Internet will be 8 years from now? The simple answer is we don’t really know…. We don’t even know if there will be an iPhone 5 this fall or how it might be different than the iPhone 4S from last fall. We do however have some ideas just based on the changes in population, information requests and trends as to what sort of infrastructure will be required to support the Internet of 2020.
