Telecommuting has been the promise for workers across the country for decades now. Being able to work from home is the dream of many. I worked from home for quite some time and found that based on my multi-tasking personality I became distracted with housework as well as office work. I moved my business to an office in the enviable Cherry Creek North area of Denver, close to several of my clients and am much more productive here than I ever was at home. Others have the discipline to walk into their home office and concentrate on nothing but work….even in their pajamas. That doesn’t mean I don’t bring a good deal of work home with me each night….just like many of us who work for themselves.
