Remember Windows ME? Not a huge success among most computer users. It was followed up with the extremely successful Windows XP. After a solid ten year life of Windows XP, Microsoft came out with Windows Vista in 2007 to pretty poor reviews across the board. Microsoft went back to the drawing board and in 2009, Windows 7 was released to as many acclaims as Vista survived jeers. Later this year, Microsoft is expected to release Windows 8, with a number of new and exciting features.
