The cloud is one of those terms that have been bandied about over the last year or so. Rather than maintaining your their own hardware and software, businesses and individuals are choosing to put their data, their music, their photos, their databases, and more on servers that are run by others, that can be accessed over the net by whomever they choose. There are certainly cost savings to moving your data to the cloud. Their are also security concerns as huge providers like Amazon have been compromised over the last year.
