HTML 5 is the future of websites. The original HTML started in 1980 by Tim Berners-Lee as Hyper Text Markup Language has changed considerably in the 32 years since. We are still stuck with some of the restrictions created in the first versions that slow the web and make websites more cumbersome than they need be. The earlier limits were based on surfing the web at speeds that seem glacial compared to today and even now with speeds hundreds of times faster we still complain about how slow some websites are.
