We wok with a number of businesses large and small who have Facebook pages. In some instances we are the only people who touch their page, in others there are a variety of people who can in one way or another contribute to the content. In the past however, anyone made an administrator of the page had full and total control of the page and in many instances we have had to trust those people with the keys to a very powerful network. For years in the Point of Sale products we have worked with as well as the blogs we have worked with, there have been a handful or administrative roles from those who control everything to those who are allowed to look (but not touch). Facebook has finally come up with 5 Administrator roles that help a business owner control who can do what.
Manager
– can do it all
Content Creator
– can edit the page, send messages, create posts (as the page) create ads, and view insights (performance charts)
Moderator
– can respond to and delete comments, send messages (as the page), create ads, and view insights (performance charts)
Advertiser
– can create ads and view insights (performance charts of those ads)
Insight Analyst
– can view the performance charts
