Once again our do next to nothing Congress has found a new evil to go after….internet piracy. Instead of fixing our budget woes, this is what they have to worry about. While online piracy is a problem, our Congress who has no problem chastising the lack of freedoms found in China, Iran, and Syria, thinks these are the countries to copy when it comes to online piracy. If enacted, this bill could shut down popular sites like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube and hundreds of thousands more because someone uploaded a copyrighted image, song, or file. This law goes way too far. Call or write your Senator or Congressperson and ask them to slow down and create a sensible law, or click here (americancencorship.org) to sign an online petition.
