Can you believe the Apple iPod is 10 years old today? Steve Jobs and Apple introduced this portable music played on October 23rd, 2001 and now some 350 million units later, terms than din’t exist 10 years ago seem to be an embedded part of our lexicon, like podcast. The iPod forever changed how we own and listen to music. This small portable device pretty much ended the need to cassettes and CDs. While the iPod has been dramatically improved and enhanced over the years, even this icon of the digital age seems to be waning as much of what it does it being ported to our mobile phones and tablets.
