Picassa. Flickr. Photobucket. Each of these sites hosts billions of photos. Yet they each pale in comparison to the number of pictures Facebook hosts. In point of fact, combined they still pale in comparison. Here is a great infographic from pixable about the number of photos on Facebook and how rapidly that number is growing. Each month users on Facebook add as many photos as some of the major photo hosting services contain in their entire databases.
