No question we live in the information age. We both produce and consume information at a rate none of us would have dreamed of even a decade ago. We produce as much information every two days as we did up to 2003 (according to Google CEO Eric Schmidt). So, how much information is that? Here is an infographic to help demonstrate from IBM, Good, and Oliver Munday.

A little help with some of the terms:

1 Megabyte = 1,000,000 bytes

1Gigabyte=1,000,000,000 bytes

1 Terabyte=1,000,000,000,000 bytes

1 Petabyte=1,000,000,000,000,000 bytes

1 Exabyte=1,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes
