Android is the #1 mobile phone operating system according to Nielsen. Not by much, mind you…but for a system that barely existed just 2 years ago that is a huge accomplishment. What does this mean for the mobile industry? Competition is a good thing. Now that Google’s Android, Apple’s iPhone OS, and RIM’s Blackberry OS are in a virtual tie, they will all work harder to build better features for us.
