We love to read. While many of us say we have no time to read as we want to, most us still love to read. e-Books like Amazon’s Kindle or Barnes & Noble’s Nook have taken reading to new levels as we are able to carry hundreds or even thousands of books with us. Now that tablets are starting to appear, they are making even more inroads into how we read.
I truly liked my Barnes & Noble Nook. It was convenient, easy to read, and I no longer was weighing my house down with more books for my shelves. I was however locked into buying my books from Barnes & Noble. Every so often I saw a book I wanted on Amazon, and BN didn’t carry it digitally. Well, those days are over, as I am now the proud owner of a Motorola Xoom tablet. I downloaded both the Amazon Kindle app and the Barnes & Noble Nook app, and am impressed with both. The Xoom even comes with Google’s own bookstore app, so I have more choices that ever. I was however floored by this video of the Alice in Wonderland book available for the iPad. This interactive book is truly the future of reading…or at least I hope so.
When will it be available for those of us without an iPad?
