The most frequently reason cited for unliking a business brand on Facebook is for posting too frequently. A new report from Exact Target and CoTweet indicate that 44% of Facebook users list this as their top complaint, followed by too many marketing messages on their personal Facebook wall at 43% and repetitive or boring content at 38%. This study should make every business take a look at their postings and posting strategies to try and make sure they are not annoying those they want to market to. Remember, this is supposed to be a more subtle form of marketing. How often does your business post?
