Imagine the horror of a world without Facebook……. KIDDING! Though for some, a day wouldn’t be complete without a few hours spend on the popular social media site.  Facebook is a phenomenon without precedent in our modern world. Since its launch in 2004 it has grown exponentially to over 600 million members and continues to grow in both size and scope. A site with close to 800 billion page views a month is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

We are not only going online to spend time on Facebook, we are tying the site other aspects of our lives to the social media juggernaut as well. We are putting LIKE buttons on websites, blog posts, and more. We are checking in from our smartphones. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if there was a giant dating party where you pressed LIKE to hook up with someone. Facebook is undoubtably a part of our lives in 2011. So what would the world be like without Facebook? Surely another site or combination of websites would take up some of the slack, but here is a great inforgraphic by SingleGrain and 0BizMedia showing how things would work without our friend Facebook.
